Vintage in San Francisco

Whenever I travel to a different city, I challenge myself to wear a piece of clothing that I normally don't wear and style it in a way where I end up second guessing myself when heading out the door but thanking myself later.

Shoes: Pedro Garcia (Cheyenne) -- Skirt: Thrifted -- Top: Thrifted
Photography by: Kellan Rogers

My suede pencil skirt (purchased under $15 yesssss) is definitely my new go to for the winter, however.  When purchasing this skirt, I envisioned it was a slouchy cashmere sweater by day and a sexy fitted black crop by night.  But as you can see, I selected a boxy, navy top....the one adjective and the one color that I normally freak out about when shopping for a top.

When piecing this look together, I kept going back to this navy (thrifted) beaut.  Was it the fact it was still a crop top, the print....the buttons going down the back? This combo that I normally pass up on turned out to be a good great idea for San Francisco.

I ended up wearing this look to Cha Cha Cha....and omg. The food there is AMAZING! My favorite dishes that you must try if you are in the Haight-Ashbury district in San Francisco, the Cajun Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Potatoes and their Curry Chicken Empanada that isn't listed on their online menu with a glass of their Sangria.

Definitely going back there again and with a new look :)

xoxo
