I feel that between the month of November and January, time flies faster than normal. During the holidays I make the extra effort to go out and spend time with my loved ones no matter what...even if I am slightly under the weather.
For little over a week I have been sick, but that didn't stop me from making a trip to the Pruneyard in Campbell to catch a late lunch and a movie. My mother and I got to the theaters a bit early and decided to walk around and discovered Patxi's Pizza.
We ordered the deep dish Chicago style spinach and mushroom slice and a thin crust cheese pizza slice that was so heavenly. I definitely plan to head back there and order their bruschetta (that is recommended by my friends) for next time.
After downing deliciousness, we went and saw Birdman....it was interesting. I didn't know what the movie was about, who was in it, what to expect, nada. I am not going to go in depth about the plot, but I can definitely say that it was one interesting movie and it might not be for everyone.
With that being said, onto the outfit. I am not going to lie, I was super lazy Saturday. I threw my hair in a messy bun, had a fresh make-up free face and was still getting over a nasty cold. Since the weather is shifting again in the Bay Area, I was excited to whip out my blanket like shawl by Karma (similar one here) to bundle myself in while looking somewhat put together. Ditch the shawl and my outfit consisted of a basic black Gap top, Vince pants, Frye boots and a Furla bag.
Simplicity at its finest.
xoxo
