"Will I regret this move?" was the question that lingered in my mind while seated in a room full of grownups making the biggest decision of my life as a sixteen year old (awkward) girl in high school. Choosing to graduate high school early not only meant taking on the challenging work load of college courses on top of my high school courses, but it meant sacrificing my junior and senior year causing me to miss walking the stage in my cap and gown, football games, pep rallies, and the biggest event for most high school girls, walking downstairs in a dreamy dress to greet their date before driving off in a limousine to prom.

Last weekend I had the chance to relive my missed opportunity as a high school girl hunting for that perfect prom dress at Valley Fair Mall in Macy's. When browsing through the organized sections of color coordinated dresses, I noticed the hot trend for high low and ombre gowns. Being that I am not a fan of high low or ombre graments, I found that there were still a wide variety of styles and colors for every young lady.
If I could do it all over again and attend prom, I would select my favorite dress on the runway in the last photo, the blue strapless gown decked out in sparkles (go big or literally go back in the limo and go home). I am attracted to gem tones and love the style of longer dresses versus the shorter dresses because I feel that you can wear a short cocktail dress at any event or party...when will you ever get to rock an over the top dress like this again if you are not on the red carpet!?
The wonderful thing about Macy's is they are not only providing beautiful, fun, flirty dresses, but their prices are spot on for those who want a deal and who doesn't like convenincy???? The make-up counter is literally right around the corner making it easy to get ready before your date arrives.
What are your favorite dresses or trends in the photos?
A BIG thank you Macy's for hosting such a phenomenal event that was beautifully organized and hospitable and Everywhere Society for reaching out and inviting me to this event!
