So my grandmother was going to get rid of this shirt until I stopped her :)  I saved this shirt because I loved the collar and the cut.  I can dress it up or dress it down.

I cut about 12 inches off the sleeve, hemmed the cut off sleeve and turned them into a cuff.

And there you go! My New Year's was oh so relaxing.  Went out to hear my dad d.j. had some drinks, went on a cake hunt with my mom....mission failed lol and then I rang in the New Year at home and received my New Year's kiss via skype from my love.  I'm off to an amazing start!!! New job which is a jump start into my career :D new gigs, new music, new wardrobe, new class schedule and a new attitude! Like I said in my last post, slowly but surely, I will post all my gifts up for you beautiful readers to see.  Here are some of my Christmas gifts that I used today :) I adore my new raincoat!!!! I have received so many compliments on it! I was in dire need of a light neutral coat since I'm so drawn to black, but this particular style is great with leggings and a sweater and works fabulous with a dress. I received a lot of shirts and sweaters for Christmas, but I will always be a t-shirts girl. Whenever I'm out running errands, I love being comfortable. I did my grocery shopping at Whole foods and threw on this ACDC shirt with my black jeggings and cheetah boots (& my gray sweater).  Next photo, my chocolate sticks! I'm not so much of a hot chocolate girl, but the dark chocolate sticks are super yummy and not overly sweet.  But!!! What is sweet is my Body shop lotion and show gel yum yum yum!!! I LOVE their body butter!!! A little goes a long way and all of their scents are so delicious!!! Now the best for last....my NYE skirt :) I had left over fabric and my grandmother decided to create this fun skirt for me.  I'm not sure what type of top I'm going to wear, but I will definitely have pictures up with the final piece.  Well I hope you all are doing great!!! I really hope it rains today :)

In Four Days...

I was going to post up all my Christmas gifts...but I'm going to make you wait and gradually display some of the items throughout my blog. It is now dwindling down to four more days until the New Year.  I am not exactly sure what my N.Y.E. plans are, but I plan on spending it with my wonderful circle. 2011 was an incredible year that went by quickly. I met some amazing people, accomplished many goals and grew as an individual.  For 2012, I do not have a specific New Year's resolution.  I just plan on continuing to maintain the positive growth and to meet my standard of success. I intend to go more outside the box and show my creative side through my blog.  I have been extremely blessed with so many opportunities that I wish to share to the world....I look at my blog as a public diary. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and everything falls into place and my dreams turn into reality! I hope all of you beautiful people stay safe, positive and have a phenomenal New Year!!!
