Mix & Match in the Rain

Good afternoon beauties!

Excuse the horrible lighting and the not so great photos...I had a mini photo-shoot in the rain this morning :) This post is in regards to Saturday's post on recycling pieces and getting creative. Here are a few different looks with the same skirts...yes skirts.  If you look at the photo above, the skirt to the right which is a body hugging (Papaya) skirt is under the pleated skirt to the left (Thrifted).  The reason for layering up the skirts is because the skirt to the left is sheer and has no lining, so instead of adding the lining, I decided to improvise while being able to play around with the different lengths underneath. I think every other week I'm going to post different looks around one item, so let me know what item you want to see next for next week :)

Why hello there :)

Random fact about little olive...I am officially 21.5 years old :P Six more months until I have my golden birthday!!! Good evening everyone!

I have all this time on my hands and I am loving every minute of it.  I have been writing nonstop and working on creative projects that I can finally give my full attention to (be prepared for A LOT of DIY posts, music posts and beauty posts!) Another bit of great news....I AM FINALLY SINGING AGAIN!!!!!! Starting next week, I will be singing at different venues around the Bay Area and will post up a schedule of where you can come hear me sing.   Aside from music...I will posting up another haul (Summer Haul) in a couple days...yes yes I know, I shop a lot, but I work hard!!! But my summer wardrobe has been completed which means I will be shopping a lot less which means less hauls and more posts with a variety of other topics.  I also received a request on Youtube to do more hair videos...so I'm thinking about making that another big focus for my blog :) Hope May is treating you all well!!!

Good afternoon lovely readers! 

I'm so excited that I get to take sometime out of my chaotic schedule to post another blog! As you can tell, pants are the focal point.  Being 5'9" and having super long legs, it is EXTREMELY difficult to find jeans/pants etc. that fit my shape and that are long enough for my legs. Whenever I do find a pair that fit me (rare), I buy them right then and there, no questions asked.  So to make it easier for my long legged ladies out there, I listed a few great brands that I love and that hopefully work for you! Feel free to share other brands that have variety and provide long inseams to the beautiful tall women!

For all the above (style, fit, length, color) go with 1. BDG Urban Outfitters - My favorite brand for AMAZING jeans!!! I love the denim, the colors, the fit the LENGTH and the variety they have to offer. 

For classic denim go with 2. Gap  - Both their pants and jeans have an awesome fit and length.

For stretchy denim go with 3. Levi's -  Great fit for my curvy girls with height (I'm wearing my pair right now, super comfortable) They also came out with the curve i.d....I still have yet to try on a pair, but when I do, I will definitely do a review and see what they have to offer.

For colors and length go with 4. WeSC - This is my first time purchasing this brand and when I tried on a pair I fell in love.  The denim is great quality and they had some super cute colors.  I received so many compliments on my light baby blue jeans.

Triples

Monday I had a tummy ache, Tuesday I had the sniffles and a sore throat, today I had the worst migraine, but Thursday will be splendid because I say so...and because Jessica is spending the night whoopeeeee!!! First photos is what I wore on Tuesday, I got a lot of comments from the guys versus ladies on my little booties which was surprising. Second photo is my new hello kitty make-up bag, new Clinique bronzer and new tube of lip-gloss by Hypnotiq.  Third photo, is my outfit for today....my sweater looks tan, but it is actually dark gray...the lighting just made it look that way hmmm. Last photo is my magnificent breakfast that I had on Monday...blueberry pancakes my favorite breakfast dish aside from crepes :) Hopefully all you beautiful people are having a lovely week and getting enough rest for finals that are right around the corner!!! So I'm a tad pissed off that I had to wake up so early on my late day because my freakin eyelash decided to scratch away at my cornea. Took me an hour to get that all situated and that hour has me wide awake...so I decided to stretch, get dressed and blog before breakfast. In exactly four days I get to see every single one of my dear friends, in five days I get to spend the day with my pooh bear and squish him and in a week I get to officially celebrate my special day with some wine in my hand :) So be very prepared to see a million pictures posted this coming week!!! But...my stomach is talking to me, I really want an omelet mmmm! Have a good morning my loves!!!!
